KRISTIN K. MARQUET

Writer. Creative Director. Mother. The woman thinking carefully about all of it.

Who She Is

There's a version of style writing that tells you what to buy.

This isn't that.

Kristin Marquet writes about style the way most people write about therapy: honestly, specifically, and like it actually matters. Because for women at this stage of life, it does. What you wear, how you show up, the image you project, and the one you're revising — these aren't vanity. They're decisions.

Kristin is a founder, writer, and creative director based in New York. She has spent her career building brands, positioning founders, and thinking seriously about how women are seen, and how they choose to be seen.

Her work has appeared in Forbes, Harper's Bazaar, L'Officiel, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and more than 50 publications worldwide.

She has a master’s degree from NYU, built 25+ websites, authored two Amazon bestsellers, and worked with hundreds of brands, which mostly means she has seen what works, what doesn't, and what women actually need versus what they're usually sold.

What this site is

This is where her writing and her eye live together.

The essays are about identity, reinvention, and the complexity of being a woman and a mother who is still figuring things out while also knowing exactly who she is.

The Styled Edition is her ongoing edit — pieces chosen for their worth, not for their trendiness.

Both belong here because they're part of the same conversation.

Style at this stage isn’t about looking younger or keeping up. It’s about finally dressing like yourself, knowing what that means, and being comfortable in your own skin.
